For certification bodies

Certify people remotely,
and stand behind it.

Invitation-only exams, camera and screen proctoring candidates agree to, an ID card check before the paper opens, and a person reviewing every flag before a result goes out.

Every flag reviewed.
By a person.

Invitation-onlyID check before the paperResults when you publish

The exam is the product.
Treat it that way.

Certification exams

A timed paper in phases, sat from anywhere, with the proctoring policy you set and the candidate agrees to before starting.

Recertification windows

Open a window or bookable slots, invite the people whose certificates are due, and see who has sat.

Practice exams

The same format without the proctoring, so candidates meet the paper’s shape before the one that counts.

Re-sits

A candidate whose attempt was cut short can ask for another, and you approve or decline it with a reason on record.

What sits between
a candidate and a certificate.

Proctoring

Camera, microphone, screen sharing and fullscreen, with rules for tab switching and second screens.

An ID card check

Before the paper, the candidate photographs an Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, driving licence or passport. It is read on their device, and a proctor compares the name.

Evidence, kept briefly

When something is flagged, a screenshot, a camera photo and a short audio clip, if your policy asks. Deleted after 21 days.

A live view

Moderators watch candidates’ camera and screen while they sit, one way. The live view is never recorded.

Marking you can check

Objective answers marked by the server, written answers by your evaluators, and results published only when you say.

Hosted in the EU

Medhank runs on servers in the European Union, and your institution’s data is kept in its own database schema.

What the ID check is.
And what it isn’t.

It is a check that the candidate showed the kind of card they said, and a reading of it for a person to compare. It is not identity verification.

It cannot:

  • Tell a real card from a good forgery
  • Confirm the card belongs to the person
  • See a phone or a person off camera

If your scheme needs verified identity, pair Medhank with your own check before you invite a candidate.

Is the exam recorded?

Answers, timing and proctoring events are kept with the attempt. If your policy asks, a screenshot, a camera photo and a short audio clip are taken at the moment something is flagged; these and ID photos are deleted after 21 days. The live view is never recorded.

Can an attempt be ended automatically?

Only by the one rule you set and the candidate is told about before starting, such as ending the attempt on a third tab switch. Everything else is a flag for a person to review.

Where is the data kept?

On servers in the European Union. Each institution’s data sits in its own database schema, and the sub-processors are listed on our policies page.

What does it cost?

Medhank is free today. Pro is coming; its pricing will be announced before anything is charged.
