Cookie policy
Last updated 6 October 2026.
Medhank sets only what it needs to sign you in, keep you signed in, and keep your answers safe during a test. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing from any third party.
Cookies
All of these are strictly necessary: the site cannot sign you in without them, so they do not need your consent. They can only be read by Medhank’s own servers — not by scripts on the page, and not by other sites.
| Name | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| refresh | Keeps you signed in, and is rotated each time it is used. | 7 days, or until you sign out |
| 2fa_session | Remembers that you have entered your password while you enter your second factor. | 5 minutes |
| mfa_enrol | Holds your place while you set up two-factor sign-in. | 10 minutes |
| staff_refresh | Keeps Medhank staff signed in to operations, separately from any other sign-in. | 7 days, or until you sign out |
| staff_2fa, staff_enrol | The same two, for Medhank staff signing in to operations. | Minutes |
Other browser storage
- Your answers during a test are kept in your browser’s own database as well as on our servers, so a dropped connection or a closed lid does not lose them. They are deleted from your browser when the attempt ends.
- Screen preferences, such as whether the console’s side menu is collapsed, are remembered on your device only.
Controlling them
You can clear or block cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the ones above, you will not be able to sign in. Because Medhank sets no optional cookies, there is nothing to opt out of, and no consent banner.
