Acceptable use policy
Last updated 6 October 2026.
This policy is part of the terms of service. It applies to everyone who uses Medhank, and it exists to keep assessments fair and the people taking them safe.
Organizations must not
- use proctoring for anything other than the integrity of a test — for example to monitor people outside a sitting;
- set tests for candidates without telling them what will be checked, or without a lawful basis to assess them;
- use a proctoring flag on its own to penalise a candidate, without a person reviewing it;
- upload content they have no right to use, or that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing;
- collect candidates’ personal data through tests for purposes unrelated to the assessment;
- invite people who have not agreed to be assessed, or use invitations to send unrelated messages.
Candidates must not
- let someone else sit a test for them, or sit one for someone else;
- use unauthorised help, tools or devices during a test, or try to hide them from the proctoring;
- copy, record or share questions from a test they sat;
- harass or threaten proctors or other staff.
Nobody may
- try to get into accounts, tests or data that are not theirs, or into another organization’s data;
- probe, scan or test the security of Medhank without our written permission;
- interfere with the service — overload it, spread malware through it, or disrupt a sitting;
- take apart the software or the extension to get around its protections;
- use Medhank to break the law.
If this policy is broken
We may remove content, suspend accounts or end access, as the terms describe, and we report unlawful activity where the law requires. To report misuse — including a security vulnerability, which we welcome and will not pursue you for reporting in good faith — write to [email protected].
